Paying for your support

There are different ways of paying for your care and support:

  • Some people will receive funding or are funded by a care package paid by social services
  • Some will pay privately
  • Some will receive a personal budget, sometimes called ‘Direct Payments’

Direct Payments

Direct payments are paid to people so that they can choose, arrange and pay for their own care services. Direct payments make it possible for people to have more choice and control over the type of help and support they need.
