The service at Dalby View provides 24-hour care and support for eight young adults with physical disabilities. Most importantly it is not just a place to live, but it is truly a home and the people living here are encouraged and enabled to make their own choices and decisions in as many aspects of their lives as possible.
Introduction
People who use this service maintain regular contact with social services, and access doctors, chiropodists, opticians, dentists and hairdressers in the community on an individual basis. Strong community links are developed and access to the local colleges is encouraged.
Location
Situated in a pleasant residential area in Coulby Newham, the bungalows are ideally located within easy reach of the amenities the town has to offer. These include shops, a cinema/theatre, community centre, library and other leisure facilities. The larger towns of Middlesbrough and Stockton are also easily accessible.

Accommodation
The two bungalows which opened in 1993, are purpose built and have been well designed to meet the needs of the residents. Each has four bedrooms, all with wash-basins. All rooms have television points. It has a large airy conservatory and comfortable, well-furnished lounge, dining and kitchen areas. Residents are encouraged to bring with them personal belongings, and their bedrooms are decorated to their own choice. There is also a large spacious garden, with a patio area. Visitors are welcome at any time and there is ample parking.
