PASTORAL CARE AND SUPPORT OF ELDERLY RELIGIOUS & CLERGY CONFERENCE

On Tuesday 10th June, the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God held a conference focusing on the holistic care of elderly Religious and Clergy. The conference was convened as a result of the 22nd International Conference of the Pontifical Council for Pastoral Health Care Workers held in the Vatican last November under the title of Pastoral Care of Elderly Sick People. The final day of this conference focussed on Religious and Clergy.

The Hospitaller Order already provides a considerable service for elderly, retired and sick Religious in many parts of the country and wishes now to extend that service to other Religious Congregations that may be in need, and to diocesan clergy.
